Nortek are proud to be suppliers and manufacturers of technical industrial workplace solutions for the UK’s leading apprentice training provider. Having first provided technical workstation solutions for the PLC training rooms at the Gavin Way site we were then asked to provide complete room furniture arrangements for their prestigious new Technology Centre also situated very close by in Birmingham.

A dedicated electronics teaching space was designed by Nortek comprising of 12 individual user workstations with Cee-Line plus benches. Each user was provided with bin rail tool storage, a keylock mounted instrument shelf with integral LED lighting under with both under shelf and desk mounted mains power trunking modules each with RCD protection and a powder coated steel Bisley under bench storage cupboard. Gas assisted keylock mounted monitor arms provided an ergonomic IT provision for the user.

Other rooms that involved the supply of Nortek industrial furniture were Automated Factory, Robotics, Commercial Maintenance, Metrology and CAD spaces. Cee-Line plus workstations as well as bespoke heavy duty mobile benches for testing equipment were all designed, manufactured and installed by Nortek. The provision of purpose made sit/stand at wiring stations for PLC training were also provided for both Birmingham sites.
